About Mytosha

Mytosha Molden was born and raised in New Orleans, LA.   After Hurricane Katrina, her and her family moved to Humble, TX, where she graduated from Humble High School.  She went back to Louisiana to attend LSU where she graduated in 2011 with a degree in Communication Studies. Mytosha is currently working in Baton Rouge and working on her future endeavors.   

 

About Da'John

Da'John Dickerson was born in New Orleans, LA but raised in Kentwood, LA where he graduated from Kentwood High School.  Da'John also graduated from LSU in 2012 with a degree in ISDS. He is currently working at CRIF Lending Solutions in Baton Rouge and working on his future endeavors as well.

 

How we met

I will never forget the moment when I said to myself, "Who is this boy, I have to meet him". It was the Delta Gent pageant and Da'John was one of the lucky contestants. They asked him a question to put the things that mattered most to him in order. His response was God, family and M.O.B. ***crickets***. That was the crowds reaction followed by loud cheers and "OMG did he really say that?". I was intrigued because he was crazy for saying that infront of all those people, but it was also somewhat courageous. We finally met and hung out a few times and on Father's Day 2009, we became boyfriend and girlfriend.

 

The Proposal

 

The best day in history happend on  July 27, 2013, in Washington D.C. next to a golden fountain. I will never forget that day because I have a scar on my forehead to remind me! We were walking and it started raining, I wa running up the stairs to take cover and as I looked up the edge of the stair said "Hello" and gashed me right above my eye. I thought I was dying and had lost my eye, no really I almost fell down the stairs when it happened. At this point, I am being dramatic, while John, RaQuita and Reg are like she just messed up the propsal in their heads. Da'John left to go get some bandages to put over the cut and when he came back everyone was like I guess we should head back because I had this huge bandage on my head and blood on my clothing. Da'John being the awesome and romantic person he is, didn't want to propose on the Metro and as we were leaving he pulled me by the fountain. He got down on one knee and I told him to "Shut Up" and I immediately started crying. I was in total shock and couldn't believe that I was getting propsed too, while looking like I had just had a street fight. Nonetheless, I said yes and I was happy because he went to Jared's! In a few short months, I will become Mrs. Dickerson and I can't wait to enjoy this next journey we will embark on together as one!
